I wanted to explain to you a golf drill that will cause you to focus on coiling your body to generate lots of power in your golf swing. Lots of people are pre-occupied by the use of their arms in the golf swing. Guess what? Your arms are not what makes a golf swing powerful, it is the twisting of the body.
Here is a simple golf swing drill that you can practice without the use of a golf club.
1) First of all, you have to learn to concentrate on how it feels to coil up your muscles during the golf swing without the use of a golf. To start off, you should try to get the correct stance.

Then place the golf ball in the correct position. You will not be hitting it, but it will help you to focus.
2) Now, what you have to do is to cross your arms over your chest since you will not be using a golf club on the golf ball. Place your right hand on your left shoulder and your left palm on your right shoulder.
3) Start your backswing and focus on rolling the inner portion of your front foot inwards.
4) Finish your backswing and ensure that you are still looking down at the ball.
5) Also, allow your front knee to bend inwards.
6) Make sure that you are keeping your feet on the ground.
7) With the golf down swing, allow your hips to turn so that your belt bucket is facing the target. Your foot leg will now pivot and your shoulders will also turn.
